Except for the first time only modified and new data are being transmitted as a matter of principle. In order to supervise all modifications/additions the program contains a log database. Depending on the requirements and technical possibilities the replication can take place directly via LAN (e.g. for laptops), WAN, modem, FTP upload/download or VPN. The transmission method and the data filters can be set for each client individually.
Even though data conflicts occur relatively seldom due to regional division of sales areas, this is a main focus of the program. If the same record or document has been modified by different users between two replications, a form is opened on the client side, showing the different values. The user can then decide whether the server or the client data (or single fields respectively) are correct.
